2015 Homecoming

When we finally wrapped up C4C's signature event for 2014 we had sold 14 items in silent auction, eaten the Ballpark Express out of hot dogs, and brought in just over $14,000. To say that we felt like Build the House was a success would be an understatement! We had lofty goals for 2014 and Build the House needed to be the biggest event that we had done in our short 5 year history in order to meet those goals. But once again, just like the previous years we continue to be amazed at the willingness of C4C supporters and our community to give with a very generous heart.

In what was the most competitive field that we have ever had, with participants from all over the Metroplex and as far as the Austin region we had a great day of Cornhole. Thirty two total teams and 29 singles participated in the friendly confines of the Mansfield West campus of the Church on Rush Creek.

Once again we are so thankful for great local sponsors, folks who supplied silent auction items, volunteers who helped make the day go smoothly and of course a great group of participants.

When the final check was delivered to Family Legacy the outstanding balance to fund Benjamin’s House was complete and we look forward to the opening of the orphanage in Lusaka, Zambia in late 2015. Additionally, on behalf of the Chappell family C4C has made a donation of $2500 to Texas Children’s Hospital’s in memory of Benjamin Graham Chappell.

To the Chappell’s – We are so grateful to be able to do this for your family and to everyone else – We are so grateful for your support of C4C with everything you do. Of course none of this is possible without great people coming along side us.
